Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC?
The bad news is that right away, the answer to the above question is “no”. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will start out as a Sony PS5 exclusive. However, PC players have reason to be hopeful of seeing it in the future, as its predecessors, Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: After debuting as PS5 exclusives, both Miles Morales have made their way to PC.

This year’s most highly awaited game — Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 — has all the makings to become an absolute hit. Its last two installments (2004’s Spider-Man 2 and its sequel) are critical hits, featuring an amazing sprawling open-world, superb combat, the finest of webbing up, and gripping original tales.

But Spider-Man 2 is also a PS5 exclusive, not even coming to the last Sony console. Coming October 20, 2021. This is the sole explanation why I still possess a PS5 for real.
But… there is hope.
Both older Spider-Man games eventually came to PC
Sony’s been doing a great job with their games on the PC, lately. PC owners will just have to wait, but some of MS’s first-party exclusives of late have made their way over there.
Both Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Both Miles Morales and Spider-Man are already out on PC (you really shouldn’t miss playing both) along with other blockbusters such as God Of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and the recent Ratchet & Clanks: Rift Apart
Compared to the investment into PC from Microsoft through Xbox, Sony has relatively little in PC and it’s no wonder that locking down those exclusive titles only PlayStation 5. Sony is relying on games like Spider-Man 2 to justify purchase of the console.
However, no official announcement is made but based on SONY’s past track records, it would not be surprising at all if SPIDERMAN 2 will also come out at some time in future for PC gaming. If and when it happens, it won’t be a matter of months but rather years — so if you want to jump in right away, you’ll need to do so on PS5.

It’s not uncommon for Insomniac Games to take their Spider-Man series and port them over onto a PC platform. Both games: Spider-Man 1 and Miles Morales were ported to pc after their launch as a PlayStation exclusive.
Ignoring PC gamers in such a situation is foolish. Game developers surely know this. Therefore many PS exclusive games of various developers also came over to the PCs.
As such, it is likely that at some point in the future, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on PC also.
But as for the above mentioned factors these are assumptions and until sony or insomniac makes an announcement that the coming spider-man game will be available on pc, it is better to stay with what i said previously.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to be released on the 20th of October 2023 for the PlayStation 5. As far as a PC release date is concerned, a conservative guess would be 1-2 years from now.
